Same team, new name.

Dear Friends,

We did it! We finally have a new name that represents who we have become as a local business in Montclair. It's New Moon Photography!

Why did we want to change our name? After being in business for almost four years, we had evolved and grown into a new brand. Changing our name was the next step to define who we have become. 

How did we choose this name? It was a huge undertaking! We spent months brainstorming, talking to families, reviewing our families' ideas and what the studio meant to them, and working with branding gurus. (Thank you to all who participated in our New Name Contest! We were beyond moved to hear how much the studio meant to families in the community.) We had a lot of options to work with! Slowly, we began to hone in on what felt right and what felt like us. The rest is history. 

What's the meaning behind the new name? One of the cycles of the moon, New Moon is a symbol for new beginnings, birth, new adventures, new intentions and new anything. By photographing the many phases and cycles of life from maternity to newborn to children of all ages to extended families, New Moon represents our studio and our relationship with our families and community. Our new colors reflect our vibe - calming, comforting, nurturing, and happy, soothing and bright. 

Besides the new name, will anything else change? Same team, new name. I want to assure you that our values, mission, experience and all the core things that you've grown to love about the studio are not changing! I'm not going anywhere, nor are my amazing employees or our membership program. We're ready and excited to embrace this change. So know that you will continue to get the same experience that you have come to love and expect. 

We couldn't have done this without all  of you! Thank you for your continued support! It means the world to us and we appreciate you more than you know. Looking forward to seeing you at New Moon Photography soon!
