FALL…INTO THE BEST OUTFIT FOR YOUR SESSION THIS SEASON
People always ask us what they should wear to their session. Should they match? Blend? What should they avoid? Creating a “look” for your session can seem overwhelming and somewhat annoying (unless you really like styling, in which case, it’s fun!) but it’s easier than you might think.
While there’s not one concrete rule to follow, we can help guide you on the right path.

Above EVERYTHING, we want our families to feel comfortable with what they wear to their sessions. Clothing is a form of self expression and it’s important to wear something that reflects your personality and style. Simply stated: wear something that feels like YOU.
With that said, we want to help you look as good as possible for your photo session!
Here's a simple method to help style your family for sessions:
Start with one subtle pattern or statement piece (can be worn by a parent or child) + family in neutrals.
Simple and neutral tones create a cohesive look that bring the focus on the face and smile. Add subtle greens and blues (or any color that feels right to you!) to add color, if you’d like. Limit patterns or prints per family.
Fall styles tend to look best when they have a jewel-toned color (maroon, emerald, navy, gold, amber) as part of the look. Neutrals always work for Fall too, especially ivory and brown combined.
Places we love to shop:
H&M, Gap, Reverie Threads, Baltic Born, J.Crew, Noralee
