Brittany’s Special Connection To reeves-Reed Arboretum

The Reeves-Reed Arboretum, a stunning botanical garden in Summit, NJ, holds a special meaning to me…wow, even thinking about it brings me right back to that day! It was the day I got married! Yep, that day :) I had my “first look” and wedding photos on the day of my wedding (before the ceremony) taking at Reeves-Reed Arboretum! To try to explain the magic of this place is difficult because it is truly a gem…but I’ll try!

When you first approach the Arboretum you get the sense that you about to enter a unique place. It has acres and acres of gardens and greenery that immediately bring you peace and happiness. Personally, I love nature, and being surrounded by such beauty brings me so much joy. As I walk around, I notice big and small details that are unique. There’s a greenhouse, hiking trails, cute little benches where you can sit and relax. The place just oozes comfort, beauty, and tranquility. There’s no way around it! It was the perfect spot for my wedding photos, which I cherish daily.

Sooo, when I was thinking about offering sessions at a new, outdoor location for our members and guests at the studio, I immediately thought of Reeves-Reed Arboretum. I wanted to offer sessions in a beautiful setting with the hope that families will be able to create memories and photos that they, too, will cherish for many years to come. Whether is a maternity session, family session with little ones, an engagement session, or an extended family session - the Arboretum offers an unmatched backdrop that will also provide families with a peaceful and joyful experience while visiting and getting photographed.
